I did this shoot with (shorter haired) Mario about 2 months ago at Smash Photo Studio in Long Beach. This guy’s always fun to work with and he brings a ton, A TON, of energy to the shoot.
I shot for Envision about 2 months ago with the most incredible team. We had some model issues to start, as in the models were no-shows, but we managed to pull it together thanks to the owners of the store. They stepped in and modeled the clothes themselves! I loved it. These are the first [...]
What did we find last fall? A nice park with gorgeous light. Yeap, fall happened in Southern California last year.
Mario’s one of the most easy going guys I’ve ever shot. When working with someone for the first time, finding out they have a great attitude never gets old. We’ve worked together a couple of times now and I think they’ve all turned out very well. These photos are from a shoot we did about [...]
Summer’s here! It’s hitting 100 degrees out and people are showing plenty of skin. The mood’s a lot lighter everywhere, too. That’s what I love most about the season. Kids aren’t stressing about school, parents aren’t stressing about their kids stressing about school. Everyone’s just out to have fun… in the sun! Hit the beach, [...]
I recently did a shoot for my friend’s boutique in Simi Valley called Envision. We did a lifestyle type shoot with 3 girl friends and plenty of happy. I’m going to try to finish up those photos soon. The girls look too good in all of them so it’s hard to cut photos out. I [...]
I did a quick shoot with Schneor a month ago at the park where I play tennis. Thanks for multi-tasking for me, park. If you follow me on Tumblr or Facebook, you might have already seen his photo which I kind of reconstructed on Photoshop. I’ve been playing with gradients and other effects lately and [...]
I like burgers. I mean, who doesn’t? I was sitting here one night and thought, wow, I’ve never photographed anything burger-y. Crazy! So, I asked Zach if he’d be up to doing something with a burger, said yes and, as you can see, the rest is burger history. During the shoot, we found this ice [...]
I did a shoot with Yevgeniy about a week and a half ago. A very fun, laid back Russian guy who loves Thai food. You do the math. All I know is that I had a blast shooting with him. I haven’t really done much male model / fashion type shoots so this was a [...]
Here’s the full set of photos from my shoot with Michelle last week. Yes, we really liked the balloons. Well, I did.
Here’s a teaser shot of my test shoot with Michelle a few days ago. Girl is gorgeous and totally fun to work with. I hope that wasn’t the first and last time we get to work together.
I don’t see snow very often so when I made it up to Big Bear Lake today, I made to take photos. All of these from my phone’s camera. Yes, the little 3MP camera built into the BlackBerry. It’s quite a nifty little thing.
I just thought I’d share something I normally don’t over here. A little outtake from that shoot I did with Marco a few weeks back. I’m looking to get another set of photos from that shoot up here soon. I hope you’re having a swell weekend.
Sara braved the cold and crazy winds when we did this shoot out in Malibu. She’s such a trooper! We got slapped around by the sand and it hurt but still managed to have tons of fun.
I did a test shoot with Marco yesterday in Simi Valley. He’s one good looking fella, no? Apart from the easy good looks, he was also very easy to work with. Love it when that happens. Grazie, Marco! Don’t worry, ladies, there’s more to come.
Spent the last few days at the beach. I haven’t been there in a hot second because of all the rain we’ve had but the sun’s out again and it’s glorious. I can’t tell you how much I love our winters in California.
My friends and I did an impromptu shoot in the rain last week. Atleast, it was supposed to be a “rain” shoot. Xhulia had the idea and we just ran with it. Or Bryan did and I was just… there. It started while there was still light out. Then crazy, rainy LA got dark asullofaden [...]
Remember being in the state of endless search? Yes, we’re all still there but I think something’s been found. For now. Stay tuned to find out what was found. But please don’t let your mind go run too wildly.
I did a little shoot with Alex a few weeks ago. He’s in the beginning stages of his modeling career in this big bad city. I wish him the best of luck!
Whether it’s of others, of our ourselves or of things, we’re all always in search of something. Everyday.
I love shooting in parks because you can find little corners which look completely different from each other. Take this shoot for example. It was at the same place as this! And this but that’s totally noticeable so don’t mind that, it kills my point. This is Brett and he’s one super awesome guy. Really [...]
I joined my friend, Bryan, at a shoot in Malibu a few weeks ago. Since it was technically his shoot, I jumped on the opportunity to shoot film without worrying about how everything was going to turn out. I got one roll back from the lab of mostly behind the scenes stuff so I didn’t [...]
The camera loves Monique and I think it’s safe to say she loves it back just as much. They’re perfect for each other. I kind of felt like the third wheel pressing the release button. I mean, that was all I had to do really. A darling to work with. I can’t wait to make [...]
