I did this shoot with (shorter haired) Mario about 2 months ago at Smash Photo Studio in Long Beach. This guy’s always fun to work with and he brings a ton, A TON, of energy to the shoot.

ENVISION

I shot for Envision about 2 months ago with the most incredible team. We had some model issues to start, as in the models were no-shows, but we managed to pull it together thanks to the owners of the store. They stepped in and modeled the clothes themselves! I loved it. These are the first set of images that I’ve completed and will most likely have another batch ready soon.

I also shot the store’s interior and blogged about it here.

Mario’s one of the most easy going guys I’ve ever shot. When working with someone for the first time, finding out they have a great attitude never gets old. We’ve worked together a couple of times now and I think they’ve all turned out very well.

Summer’s here! It’s hitting 100 degrees out and people are showing plenty of skin. The mood’s a lot lighter everywhere, too. That’s what I love most about the season. Kids aren’t stressing about school, parents aren’t stressing about their kids stressing about school. Everyone’s just out to have fun… in the sun!

Hit the beach, learn how to surf and play some beach volleyball!

I recently did a shoot for my friend’s boutique in Simi Valley called Envision. We did a lifestyle type shoot with 3 girl friends and plenty of happy. I’m going to try to finish up those photos soon. The girls look too good in all of them so it’s hard to cut photos out. I also took a few snaps of the store’s interior which was designed by my friend. Pretty awesome things going on there, everyone should pay Envision a visit.

I did a quick shoot with Schneor a month ago at the park where I play tennis. Thanks for multi-tasking for me, park.

If you follow me on Tumblr or Facebook, you might have already seen his photo which I kind of reconstructed on Photoshop. I’ve been playing with gradients and other effects lately and I’m enjoying it. It brings new life to the photos. I have a Facebook album (this is beginning to sound like a Facebook page ad except slightly more subtle than, “Guys!! Check out my Facebook!!!!!”) that has regenerated photos.

BURGER! + ICE CREAM?

I like burgers. I mean, who doesn’t? I was sitting here one night and thought, wow, I’ve never photographed anything burger-y. Crazy! So, I asked Zach if he’d be up to doing something with a burger, said yes and, as you can see, the rest is burger history.

During the shoot, we found this ice cream/candy truck parked and asked the driver if we can abuse it. He said yes! Everyone’s saying yes these days. It’s incredible.

Back to business.

I did a shoot with Yevgeniy about a week and a half ago. A very fun, laid back Russian guy who loves Thai food. You do the math. All I know is that I had a blast shooting with him.

I haven’t really done much male model / fashion type shoots so this was a nice change up for me. I’ll most likely do more of these in the near future. If you’re a high fashion or editorial type model and need some new shots, that was your cue to contact me.
